WIIT conducted a POSH Certification Program on 8 August 2026 at Tapasya Hall, Infopark, Kochi, bringing together participants for an in-depth learning session focused on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) at the workplace.
The session was led by Adv. Sreela Menon, State Coordinator, Nirbhaya Cell, Department of Women & Child Development, Government of Kerala, who guided participants through important aspects of workplace safety, prevention, awareness and compliance under the POSH framework.
The programme provided participants with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the responsibilities of organisations and employees in creating and maintaining a workplace that is safe, respectful, inclusive and free from sexual harassment. The session also highlighted the importance of awareness, appropriate workplace practices and effective mechanisms for addressing concerns related to sexual harassment.
Through this certification programme, WIIT continues its efforts to support organisations in strengthening their workplace policies and practices while promoting greater awareness of POSH requirements. Such initiatives contribute to building a culture where employees feel safe, respected and empowered in their professional environment.
