Women Inclusive in Technology (WIIT) successfully conducted a POSH Certification Program at Travancore Hall, Technopark, Trivandrum, bringing together professionals for an informative and engaging session focused on creating safer, more respectful and inclusive workplaces.
The programme provided participants with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) framework and its importance in establishing a safe and supportive professional environment. The session focused on strengthening awareness of workplace responsibilities, appropriate practices and the mechanisms available to prevent and address sexual harassment.
Through meaningful discussions and knowledge-sharing, the programme encouraged participants to recognise the importance of building workplace cultures grounded in respect, dignity, equality and accountability. It also highlighted the role of organisations and employees in ensuring that appropriate systems and practices are in place to promote workplace safety.
The certification programme reflects WIIT’s continued efforts to support organisations and professionals in developing greater awareness of POSH requirements and fostering more inclusive workplace environments.
