As part of the Accelerated Leadership Program (ALP) 2026, Women Inclusive in Technology (WIIT) conducted a session on “Responsible AI & Equitable Tech”, exploring the importance of developing and adopting technology in ways that are responsible, inclusive and equitable.
The session was facilitated by Nidhi Sudhan, who guided participants through important perspectives on the growing role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in the workplace and wider society. The session encouraged participants to look beyond technological innovation and consider the broader impact of technology on people, organisations and communities.
Key themes included the importance of responsible technology practices, fairness, inclusion, accountability and equitable access to technology. The session provided participants with an opportunity to reflect on how technology and AI can be developed and applied thoughtfully while considering diverse perspectives and potential societal impacts.
The programme was organised by WIIT together with training partners Trinity SkillWorks Private Limited and Mindcarter, and industry partner GTech, as part of their collaborative efforts to strengthen leadership capabilities and prepare professionals for an evolving technology landscape.
The session added an important dimension to ALP 2026, highlighting that effective leadership in the technology sector requires not only an understanding of innovation but also an awareness of its responsibilities and wider impact.
Through sessions such as “Responsible AI & Equitable Tech,” ALP 2026 continues to provide participants with opportunities to explore contemporary technology topics, develop informed perspectives and build leadership capabilities relevant to the future of work.
